Lesson 1.0 — Welcome from The Church of the Risen Lord

Welcome, beloved!

On behalf of The Church of the Risen Lord in Jacksonville, Florida, we warmly welcome you to this Bible study. We are so glad you are here. Before you do anything else, take a deep breath and pray this simple prayer:

"Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me to this study. Open my heart and mind. Teach me through Your Word. Draw me closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. In His name I pray, Amen."

Why this course exists

We believe the Word of God is the most powerful book ever written. It is "quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword" (Hebrews 4:12). It saves souls, changes lives, heals broken hearts, and anchors us in every storm. But too many believers never learn how to open their Bible and meet God in its pages for themselves.

This study will change that. In just 10 to 15 minutes a day, you will learn to:

• Study the Bible for yourself — with simple methods like SOAP and ACTS that anyone can use
• Understand the great doctrines of our faith — who God is, who Jesus is, how salvation works, and the Holy Ghost's role in your life
• Grow in unshakable trust in the Lord through trials, fears, and every season
• Live a life that glorifies God every day — at home, at work, at school, in your community

This course is 100% FREE

The Lord Jesus said, "freely ye have received, freely give" (Matthew 10:8). In that same spirit, this course is completely free for everyone with the link. There is nothing to buy, no hidden fee, no trial. All you need is a willing heart, a King James Bible, and about 15 minutes a day.

Please share it. Pass the link to your family, your friends, your coworkers, your neighbors, your small group, your youth ministry, your pastor. The Gospel is meant to be shared. If this study blesses you, it will bless others too.

How to use this course

1. Set aside 10 to 15 minutes every day — morning if possible (Psalm 5:3)
2. Find a quiet place with your Bible, a notebook, and a pen
3. Begin with prayer — ask the Holy Spirit to teach you
4. Go one lesson per day, in order, without skipping
5. Do the exercise at the end of each lesson — do not just read, apply
6. Memorize the memory verse — hide God's Word in your heart
7. Share what you learn with a family member or friend — teaching cements learning
8. Finish strong — if you miss a day, do not quit; pick up where you left off

A blessing over you as you begin

"The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace." — Numbers 6:24-26 (KJV)

Amen. He is risen — He is risen indeed! We are praying for you.
